On this day of your life, Jessica, I believe God wants you to know...

...that you are okay just the way you are...and so is

everybody else.

Sometimes we want the kind of acceptance that we

arenot willing to give. Yet life is a two-way street,

and we do so much better when we send to others

what we want them to send to us.

Just a gentle reminder today that you are wonderful,

and the person right next to you is, too!

Honor the sacred.
Honor the Earth, our Mother.
Honor the Elders.
Honor all with whom we
share the Earth:-
Four-leggeds, two-leggeds,
winged ones,
Swimmers, crawlers,
plant and rock people.
Walk in balance and beauty.

Reading more Gibran and found another beautiful thing he wrote :-)

——————
And now you ask in your heart, “How shall we distinguish that which is good in pleasure from that which is not good?”

Go to your fields and your gardens, and you shall learn that it is the pleasure of the bee to gather honey of the flower,

But it is also the pleasure of the flower to yield its honey to the bee.
For to the bee a flower is a fountain of life,
And to the flower a bee is a messenger of love,
And to both, bee and flower, the giving and the receiving of pleasure is a need and an ecstasy.
People of Orphalese, be in your pleasures like the flowers and the bees.

Email from Neale 090901

On this day of your life, Jessica, I believe God wants you to know...
...that nothing is as bad as it seems. Nothing .

There is a benefit and a blessing hidden in the folds
of every experience and every outcome. That includes
every and any 'bad' thing that may be happening to
you right now.

Change your perspective. Know that nothing happens
ever that is not for your highest good. All that needs
to change for you to see this...is your definition of
'Highest Good.'

Email from Neale 090831

This email from Neale Donald Walsch lightened up my day , it made me change my perspective

*********************
On this day of your life, Jessica, I believe God wants you to know...
....that there is a solution to all of this--
and it is right around the next corner.

A few weeks from now you will not even be facing
this problem. A few months from now, you will have
forgotten you ever had it. A few years from now you
will wonder why you let yourself worry so much.

I'm not trying to make light of it here. I just want to
put it in perspective.

Okay? Trust God here. Trust life. And breathe.

Quote I found

We are reminded how short life really is, and how we are just passing through.
So, all the people you haven't told you love lately,
tell them, and live your days like you mean it.

Native American Prayer

Oh, Great Spirit
Whose voice I hear in the winds,
And whose breath gives life to all the world,
hear me, I am small and weak,
I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold
the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have
made and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand the things
you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have
hidden in every leaf and rock.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - myself.
Make me always ready to come to you
with clean hands and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my Spirit may come to you without shame.

(translated by Lakota Sioux Chief Yellow Lark in 1887)

What is reiki?

I recieed a question what reiki is?

Here comes an explanation:

Rei, meaning "Universal" and Ki, meaning "Life Force".
Reiki is a hands-on healing technique, which is based on the the idea of accessing the universal life force and channeling it through a reiki practioners body and out their hands into a persons body for the purpose of healing mind, body and spirit.
Reiki is an emmensly simple yet powerful method which can remove blockages and restore the flow of energy around the body.
The spirit of reiki is challenging and rewarding and can lead you into a journey of spiritual exploration and discovery.
It helps release the drama and illusions that we have limited ourselves with.
This energizing force can empower you to feel as an emotional being, to respond to situations creatively, and to act throughout your life as a channel for good.

The effect of reiki is not always immediate or obvious, although for some people it can be dramatic and instant.
Reiki has its own inherent wisdom and acts as a force that gives people what they need rather than what they ask for.
Although reiki is a hands-on form of healing, no maniupulation of the body is involved, and therefore, there are no risks of injuries.
Reiki is suitable for everyone; and can be used successfully in conjunction with other complimentary therapies and healing forms, and with orthodox medical treatments.
Reiki is more than a complementary therapy.
It can also be regarded as a spiritual journey or a life path.
Many people say that the healing and balancing of the body's natural flow of energy creates a sence of openness.
This offers the opportunity to expand one's consciousness, as well as to release long-held stresses and pains.
Reiki is truly one of the most wonderful healing tools present on this planet at this time.
This is important for us now as conditions on our planet are critical.
There are wars, famines, disease, pollution, the destruction of the eco system, crime, poverty and horrible living conditions.
These problems are being experienced by billions of people and are getting worse.
These problems have been caused primarily by the decisions people have made on an individual, local and global basis.

The underlying values and beliefs which govern the decision making processes for the planet are in need of a major revision.
We need to change our values and beliefs so we can move from a fragmented earth to a whole earth, from an earth motivated by fear to an earth motivated by love, from an earth filled with suspicion and conflict to an earth living in trust and cooperation.
Within reiki lies the energy and consciousness necessary to make these changes.

"WE HAVE WHAT WE SEEK. IT IS THERE ALL THE TIME, AND IF WE GIVE IT TIME, IT WILL MAKE ITSELF KNOWN TO US"

quotes about rest

Live where your Passion finds a purpose, effort is just another word for Joy, and rest is the only distraction you allow .

Laura Teresa Marquez
Source: Early Morning Conversation

Those who awaken never rest in one place.
Like swans, they rise and leave the lake.
On the air they rise and fly an invisible course.
Their food is knowledge.
They live on emptiness.
They have seen how to break free.
Who can follow them?

Buddha (563 - 483 BC)
Source: Dhammapada

The saying goes, 'The sage rests, truly rests and is at ease.' This manifests itself in calmness and detachment, so that worries and distress cannot affect him, nothing unpleasant can disturb him, his Virtue is complete and his spirit is not stirred up.
Chuang Tzu (c.360 BC - c. 275 BC)

Source: The Book of Chuang Tzu (Arkana S.), Page: 130

When it's new and important, you have to rest in between times.
And anyway, even when I like a person there is a weariness that comes.
I can be with someone and everything is fine and then all of a sudden it can wash over me like a sickness, that I need the quiet of my own self.
I need to unload my head and look at what I've got in there so far.
See it.
Think what it means.
I always need to come back to being alone for awhile.
I guess I sort of got used to it when I was younger and now it's mixed in my character like eggs in a cake.
Sometimes I wonder, does this mean I'll have to be a nun or something?

About Allies from Paulo Coelhos blog

The importance of allies - Part 1
Published
by
Paulo Coelho
on April 2, 2009

The warrior of light who does not share with others the happiness of his choices will never come to know his own qualities and shortcomings.
So before you start anything, find allies – people who are interested in what you are doing.
I am not saying “Find other warriors of light.”I am saying: “
Find people with different skills, because a warrior’s fight for his dream is no different from any other path that is followed with enthusiasm.”

Your allies will not necessarily be those people that everyone looks at in admiration and says: “there is nobody better.”
Much to the contrary, they are people who are not afraid of making mistakes, so they make lots of mistakes.
That is why what they do is not always praised or acknowledged.
Yet this is the type of person that changes the world and after many a mistake manages to get something right that will make all the difference to their community.
Allies are people who cannot hang around waiting for things to happen and later decide on the best attitude to take: they decide as they go along, even knowing that this type of behavior is very risky.
Living with allies is important for a warrior of light; together, they all understand that before choosing the objective they are free to change their mind.
But after the objective has been decided upon, they focus only on the steps they have to take. And they think as they go along: “each step requires a lot of effort, but it’s worth the risk, it’s worth betting one’s very life.
”The best allies are those that do not think like most people.
That is why, when looking for companions to share the enthusiasm of the dream, it is important to believe in intuition and pay no attention to others’ comments.
Most human beings always judge others using their own limitations as the model – and sometimes the opinion of the majority is full of prejudice and fear.

Join all those who experiment, take risks, fall, get hurt and then take risks again. Stay away from those who affirm truths, who criticize those that do not think like they do, who have never taken a step without being sure that they would be respected for that, and who prefer the comfort of certainty to the tension of doubt.
Join those who expose themselves and are not afraid of being vulnerable:
these watch what their neighbor is doing, not to judge him but rather to admire him for his dedication and courage.

I´m very tired ....

I´m very tired today.
Tired of being at the hospital, but I´m going home for the weekend.
And then we will see how things turn out.

The most important thing is to listen to my own heart.
If I´m happy I can share my joy with other people also.
But life is also a rollercoaster, it goes up and down, and we just have to coop with it.
I´m tired of just watching life pass me by.
I want to go on the rollercoaster, take a chance :-)

And I know that some people around me, can feel hurt because I didn´t tell my truth before.
That I have to live with.
But also forgive myself because I didn´t know how to change this situation before.
I´m taking day by day, minute by minute.

And some things in life, I just have to do, even though people around me don´t agree.

It´s my life and I have to live it to the fullest, not just sit down and give up !!!

Who am I?

Who am I ?

I am who I am.

And we all have the light within to share with each ohter.
So let the light come in from both inside (inside and outside).
Let it flow.
Let others light come into you, and also share your light, letting other people share your light.

We are all ONE and connected.

I have been spending a lot of time in silence lately in the hospital.I have had time to figure out what I want in life.
What is my life mission ?
I have thought that it all starts with me.
I am all my feelings, sad, happy, angry, humble, lost, at the right place and so on.

All I can do is my best according to my knowledge and sometimes I get lost and need a compass and a tiny light to see where I put my feet.
Also I need my friends showing me a peace of the puzzle so we all can see clearer what we need to do.
Or is it so that I am at the right place all the time?

Maybe I needed to go thrue all theese experiences to become who I am today ??

Many questions I have.

Comment on Paulos post about Everyday Masters

The every day masters
Paulo Coelho

Here is one of the entries of my friend’s diary about the every day masters

Accepting yourself

I found out who I am by looking at others.
I am afraid of not being as good as they think I am, but I believe they all think this about themselves. During the time that I kept this diary, I finally accepted that I am brave enough to feel fear and to see myself without any artifices.
I feel secure enough to feel insecure.
I discovered that people try to project a lot of their own insecurity onto you, just as you do with them. They try to diminish you because they feel small, try to intimidate you because they are not convinced that they are capable.
Tomorrow, I’ll post here another entry.

My reflection about it:
I have to admit if I didn´t do that before.
Now I´m really really scared, so I do everything to make me stay calm.
Walk with the dog, taking a bath, listen to music.
Try to just center myself, I don´t want to be in the storm.
But I know I can´t be a coward so even though I´m afraid I have to walk my path with faith.
I don´t want to be a slave under others will.
I want to be free.
Free as the eagles !!!!
Love, light, courage to you all!!

Take step by step and walk on your own paths, if you stumble and fall stand up and continue :-)

About hummingbirds

I was fascinated with the hummingbirds so I looked up what it´s stands for:
http://www.whats-your-sign.com/hummingbird-animal-totem.html

The Hummingbird animal totem is a messenger of hope and jubilation.
Hummingbirds are signs of:
energy
vitality
joy
renewal
sincerity
healing
persistence
peace
infinity
agility
playfulness
loyalty
affection

It is not commonly known that the fluttering wings of the hummingbird move in the pattern of an infinity symbol - further solidifying their symbolism of eternity, continuity, and infinity.

By observing the Hummingbird, we see they are seemingly tireless.
Always actively seeking the sweetest nectar, they remind us to forever seek out the good in life and the beauty in each day.
Amazing migrators, some Hummingbirds are known to wing their way as far as 2000 miles to reach their destination.
This quality reminds us to be persistent in the persuit of our dreams, and adopt the tenacity of the Hummingbird in our lives.
The most profound questions the Hummingbird asks is:
"Where is your joy?"
"Is your happiness found within, or do you seek it externally?"
"What is the source of your joy?"
"What must you do to increase your joy?"
The Hummingbird animal totem most important message to you is:
"The sweetest nectar is within!"
