Reflection of today

Paulo Coelho wrote:
07 – You may only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough

My reflection was:
I believe we live several lifes and strange at it seems I want to live even more lifes on Earth if we can make this a better place.

It´s to boring to be on the other side all the time, we need the physical world to live to the fullest and expirience all our feelings.

Right now many things are not good like wars and pullotion, we can make many improvments.
It may never be perfect, then everything becomes too boring, so some challenges along our way spice up the road.

And that is one thing I´m fighting for a better place for all of us. So we can have some heaven on Earth ;-)
Not a boring sunday Earth a joyful and adventures Earth ;-)

Reflection about what happened in March

Now some time have passed since I ended up in hospital because of stress in March.

I recieved a friend request in Facebook from a person that called himself Slayer Al Saffah
( the butcher profet) just days before I was going to meet Paulo and other readers in Paris.

And I became so afraid that my brain didn´t know what was real or not.
I couldn´t sleep for several days and that made me ill.

Now I have recovered from this and I hope I never going to be so afraid again.

Now I just take day by day and trying to se the beauty in every day life, like enjoying watching a butterfly, taking a break and just sit in the sun.
Enjoying the moment to the fullest.

Maybe I get a new chance to go to Paris and meet my favourite aouthor.
But if I don´t get another chance I will anyway enjoy my everyday life and live life to the fullest.

I don´t want to get older and regret the things I didn´t do.

I want to take the chance when it comes, and if rocks comes in the way I will try the hardest I can to remove them.
And if they are to big to move I will try to find another way to get around it.

Love and light

Just some reflection

What is love ??

Maybe to treat a person as you wanted to be treated, with love, respect and empathy.
And we have to learn to love ourself first, it always start with yourself.

You can make a person happy just by giving him/her a smile and a friendly word or a hug.
And also talk nice to yourself in the mirror for example ;-)

You can be the change in someone elses life.
And we can also change our own life, when we start to love ourself for who we are.

I have myself had a hard time for a while now and if I hadn´t have my friends around I don´t know how I should move forward.

I needed them, as they may need me one day.
They show me how I can be able to open my heart, and talk about whats troubling me, and they show me another way of looking at this subject.

So appriciate your friends and give them a hug and tell them what they mean to you :-D

Love to all my friends that visiting my blog and to all my other friends.

What is reiki?

I recieed a question what reiki is?

Here comes an explanation:

Rei, meaning "Universal" and Ki, meaning "Life Force".
Reiki is a hands-on healing technique, which is based on the the idea of accessing the universal life force and channeling it through a reiki practioners body and out their hands into a persons body for the purpose of healing mind, body and spirit.
Reiki is an emmensly simple yet powerful method which can remove blockages and restore the flow of energy around the body.
The spirit of reiki is challenging and rewarding and can lead you into a journey of spiritual exploration and discovery.
It helps release the drama and illusions that we have limited ourselves with.
This energizing force can empower you to feel as an emotional being, to respond to situations creatively, and to act throughout your life as a channel for good.

The effect of reiki is not always immediate or obvious, although for some people it can be dramatic and instant.
Reiki has its own inherent wisdom and acts as a force that gives people what they need rather than what they ask for.
Although reiki is a hands-on form of healing, no maniupulation of the body is involved, and therefore, there are no risks of injuries.
Reiki is suitable for everyone; and can be used successfully in conjunction with other complimentary therapies and healing forms, and with orthodox medical treatments.
Reiki is more than a complementary therapy.
It can also be regarded as a spiritual journey or a life path.
Many people say that the healing and balancing of the body's natural flow of energy creates a sence of openness.
This offers the opportunity to expand one's consciousness, as well as to release long-held stresses and pains.
Reiki is truly one of the most wonderful healing tools present on this planet at this time.
This is important for us now as conditions on our planet are critical.
There are wars, famines, disease, pollution, the destruction of the eco system, crime, poverty and horrible living conditions.
These problems are being experienced by billions of people and are getting worse.
These problems have been caused primarily by the decisions people have made on an individual, local and global basis.

The underlying values and beliefs which govern the decision making processes for the planet are in need of a major revision.
We need to change our values and beliefs so we can move from a fragmented earth to a whole earth, from an earth motivated by fear to an earth motivated by love, from an earth filled with suspicion and conflict to an earth living in trust and cooperation.
Within reiki lies the energy and consciousness necessary to make these changes.

"WE HAVE WHAT WE SEEK. IT IS THERE ALL THE TIME, AND IF WE GIVE IT TIME, IT WILL MAKE ITSELF KNOWN TO US"

What is freedom?

Freedom what is freedom?

Free to express myself without someone labeling me.
Let me express the real me.
Peel the onion peace by peace until I only am the kernel.
Just being me without fear of being judge.

We should not judge each other, instead share both our simularities and our unique gifts :-)

Just some reflections

I´m so tired right know.
I need to rest and feel which path I need to go now.
Some people around me try to make me abandon my true path.
But I have decide I need to walk it even if some disagree and think I´m crazy.
They can think what they want, it most about themself, that they don´t have the courage to walk the narrowest path.
It´s my life and I need to follow my heart step by step, and go on even when I fall.
Otherwise my soul is going to be a zombie and that I can´t let happen.

Reflection on love

The three forms of love: Eros, Philos, Agape
Published
by
Paulo Coelho
on March 25, 2009

In 1986, when I was on the road to Santiago with my guide Petrus, we passed through the city of Logroño while a wedding was taking place. We ordered two glasses of wine, I prepared something to nibble on, and Petrus discovered a table where we could sit down together with the other guests.

The wedding couple cut an immense cake.
“They must love one another,” I thought aloud.
“Of course they love one another,” said a man in a dark suit sitting at our table. Have you ever seen anyone get married for any another reason?”
But Petrus did not let the question go unanswered:
“What type of love do you mean: Eros, Philos or Agape?”

The man looked at him without understanding a word.
“There are three words in Greek to designate love,” Petrus said. “Today you are seeing the manifestation of Eros, that sentiment between two persons.”
The bride and groom smiled for the cameras and received compliments from the guests.

“The two seem to love one another. In a short time they will be fighting alone for life, establishing themselves in a house and taking part in the same adventure: that’s what makes love grand and dignified. He will pursue his career, she probably knows how to cook and will make an excellent housewife because since she was a little girl she was brought up to do that.

She will accompany him, they will have children and they will manage to build something together, they will be happy for ever.”
“Al of a sudden, however, this story could happen the other way around. He is going to feel that he is not free enough to show all the Eros, all the love that he has for other women.

She may begin to feel that she has sacrificed a career and a brilliant life to accompany her husband. So, instead of creating together, each of them will feel robbed in their way of loving. Eros, the spirit that joins them, will start to display only his bad side.

And what God had meant to be man’s most noble sentiment will begin to be a source of hatred and destruction.”
I looked around me. Eros was present in many couples.
But I could sense the presence of Eros the Good and Eros the Evil, just like Petrus had described.
“Notice how odd it is,” continued my guide.
“Despite being good or bad, the face of Eros is never the same in all persons.”

My comment:
And also when we don´t who we are (when we are younger often).
By growing older and wiser (I hope) we have discovered who we are deep inside, then we know ourself and then we know how to attract the right person in to our life.

The law of attraction, what we send out is what we get.
So it all starts with loving ourself, which I haven´t done. But I learn slowly step by step, by peeling the onion.

Comment on Paulos post about Everyday Masters

The every day masters
Paulo Coelho

Here is one of the entries of my friend’s diary about the every day masters

Accepting yourself

I found out who I am by looking at others.
I am afraid of not being as good as they think I am, but I believe they all think this about themselves. During the time that I kept this diary, I finally accepted that I am brave enough to feel fear and to see myself without any artifices.
I feel secure enough to feel insecure.
I discovered that people try to project a lot of their own insecurity onto you, just as you do with them. They try to diminish you because they feel small, try to intimidate you because they are not convinced that they are capable.
Tomorrow, I’ll post here another entry.

My reflection about it:
I have to admit if I didn´t do that before.
Now I´m really really scared, so I do everything to make me stay calm.
Walk with the dog, taking a bath, listen to music.
Try to just center myself, I don´t want to be in the storm.
But I know I can´t be a coward so even though I´m afraid I have to walk my path with faith.
I don´t want to be a slave under others will.
I want to be free.
Free as the eagles !!!!
Love, light, courage to you all!!

Take step by step and walk on your own paths, if you stumble and fall stand up and continue :-)

Reflection about Paulos Your Opinion on Vanity

I´m so tired of judging …

From one persons view a person can have vanity but for another persons view it could be pure love.

Who are we to judge what is vanity or not?

How is the right thing to be?

Isn´t that just up to each person to be whatever they wan´t to be?

And if we by mistake did something wrong, we can appologize for it and be humble.

That was not the intention to hurt that person, they just have another view of life.
About good or bad…Who decides what is good or bad?

Isn´t it just so that we humans also have differences as we have simularities, and that we should accept that?

Maybe that is what we should learn know when we learnt about good and bad, to mix this feelings into not judging just let things be as they are.

That every person have their right to believe in their own way?

We learn from our mistake and we grow.

Love once again :-)

Reflection of Nikamrie comment on Paulos blog

Nikamrie,

"Are people moving away from religion and becoming more spiritual?"

I believe that is whats coming ... a new world with a whole new view of life.
But at first it will be chaos because people are afraid of changes and loosing power not realizing that they also will gain from change.

We are so used holding on to our things and patterns so we can not se what is around the corner.
I think we need to go on a adventure with faith and maybe a treasure is just around the corner. But maybe not what you expected.

God, Jahve, the Source(or whatever you want to call him/her, in my opinion he has no name, or all name because he/she is everything) work in mysterious ways ;-)

It is not easy, we have to take step by step and just take a leap of faith.

Reflection of Paulo Coelhos: Guilt and forgiveness - Part II

Guilt and forgiveness - Part II
Published
by
Paulo Coelho
on March 6, 2009

Here is a beautiful story that illustrates precisely what I mean:
When he was small, Cosroes had a teacher who helped him to become an outstanding student in all his subjects. One afternoon, the teacher punished him severely, apparently for no reason.
Years later, Cosroes acceded to the throne. One of his first actions was to summon his former schoolmaster and demand an explanation for the injustice he had committed.

‘Why did you punish me when I had done nothing wrong?’ he asked.
‘When I saw how intelligent you were, I knew at once that you would inherit the throne from your father,’ replied his teacher. ‘And so I decided to show you how injustice can mark a man for life. Now that you know that,’ the teacher went on, ‘I hope you will never punish another person without good reason.’
This reminds me too of a conversation I had over supper once in Kyoto.

The Korean teacher Tae-Chang Kim was talking about the differences between Western thought and Eastern thought.
‘Both our civilisations have a golden rule. In the West, you say: ‘Do as you would be done by.’ This means that a loving person establishes a model of happiness which he tries to impose on all those he meets.
The golden rule in the East appears to be almost the same: ‘Never do to others what you would not want done to you.’ This is based on an understanding of all the things that make us unhappy, including having to obey a model of happiness imposed on us by others - and that makes all the difference.
In order to improve the world, we do not impose our own way of showing our love, we try instead to avoid making others suffer.’
So show respect and care when dealing with your fellow man. Jesus said: ‘You shall know them by their fruits.’ And old Arab proverb says: ‘God judges the tree by its fruits, not by its roots.’ And according to a popular proverb: ‘The beater forgets the beating, the beaten never do.’

My reflection:

It´s so beautiful Paulo :-)
It´s almost what I wrote on part 1 of forgivness *LOL*.
I´m so happy that there is people like you on this Earth :-)
I have a dream and a vision (and many more with me I suppose), that we can come togehter more and more people to share this wisdom and love.

And I think I´m getting there step by step with help from my friends.
But we need a lot of friends sharing in diffrent ways, so we should all start with doing what we can, with the resources we have.
Starting with ourselfs first and then flow over and share to other.

Paulo, you give many people strenght to stand up for themselfs, and one them is me ;-)
The circle of support, you support me and I support others in return.

The good waves are spreading !!!!

Some more thoughts about forgiveness

One more thought ….

I think we all want to be loved for who we are.
But if I speak for myself, I have been scared to show myself, because I believed that noone would love me for who I am, so I hided behind a wall :-(

But I´m through with hiding!!!
Now I have to stand up for myself and show the real me.
And thoose who loves me, loves me, simple as that.
And the most important thing is I also have to love myself and respect myself.
How can other people else know who I am, if I´m not sure who I am myself?

Everything starts within yourself.
And thats where I found my strenght in God, the Divine, the source, the light within or whatever you call it.
I go to the source and meditate !!!
I believe that we all come from the same source, so we should see ourself in other people.

If I hurt another person, I also hurt myself.
But we all do mistakes from unconscioussnes and then when we realize what we are doing and need to correct them, we can hurt other people because your didn´t follow YOUR path.

You suddenly realize that you where walking on someone elses path.
And we should forgive both ourself and the other person for this, saying to them that I made a mistake.

Reflection of Paulo Coelhos: Guilt and forgiveness - Part 1

During his pilgrimage to Mecca, a holy man was suddenly aware of God’s presence beside him. He fell into a trance, knelt down, hid his face and prayed:

‘Lord, I ask only one thing in my life, that You give me the grace never to offend You.’

‘I cannot give you that grace,’ replied the Almighty.

Surprised, the man asked why.

‘If you never offend me, I will have no reason to forgive you,’ he heard the Lord say. ‘And if I have no need to forgive you, you will soon forget the importance of being merciful to others. Therefore, continue on your way with Love, and allow me to forgive you now and then, so that you do not forget this virtue either.’

The story clearly illustrates our own problems with guilt and forgiveness. When we were children, we would often overhear our mother saying: ‘My child only behaved foolishly because he got into bad company. He’s a very good boy really.’

And so we never took responsibility for our actions, never asked for forgiveness and ended up forgetting that we must also be generous with those who offend us. The act of forgiveness has nothing to do with feelings of guilt or cowardice: we all make mistakes and it is only by occasionally stumbling that we can improve and progress. On the other hand, if we are too tolerant of our own behaviour - especially when this hurts other people - we become isolated and incapable of correcting our path.

How can we drive out guilt, but at the same time be capable of asking forgiveness for any mistakes we make?

There are no easy formulas, but there is good sense: we should judge the results of our actions and not the intentions behind them. Deep down, everyone is good, but that is irrelevant and will not heal any wounds we might inflict.

My reflection:

I think I have a clue ;-)

“How can we drive out guilt, but at the same time be capable of asking forgiveness for any mistakes we make?”

By forgiving ourself for our own mistake as we forgive others for theirs, but start with yourself.
It´s not easy is a process have patience and be kind to yourself.
Stand up for your beliefs and follow your heart.

Don´t let other peoples projections hurt you instead see thrue them, see the bigger picture.

Love and light

View of life

We should appriciate even the small things in life and say thank you each day for what we have, like healthy children, running water, food on the table, not every human has that on this Earth.

I wish we all had the same chance from the beginning but we don´t.
We have to do the best of what we have in the moment and continue fighting for our cause.
Every change starts with ourself, noone else can do it for you.

If we think we are weak we are.
If we think we are strong, we can move mountains with our thoughts.
That is why we should choose our thoughts carefully.

I saw on Operah Winfreys show a time ago, it was about a young girl that had ben raped and forced to be a childsoldier and she was forced to shoot people.
She was rescued by a organization that gave her a education and a home and also therapy for her traumas.
That was a miracle for this child.
She had a dream to be a lawyer and save other children from theese things, to create some justice in this world.

We can also be a Earthangel in someone elses life when we reach out our hand, as someone else can be a Earthangel to us reaching out their hand.

Give and recieve the flow of energy.

We can all do something to make another humans day a little better.
We can´t continue just pass by and think that someone else is going to take charge of things, we can all do the best we can.

Believing the impossible

Believing in the impossible - Part 2
Published
by
Paulo Coelho
on February 27, 2009

Even so, now and again we hear the following comment:
“I always believe in dreams, I often try to combat injustice, but I always end up disappointed.”
A warrior of light knows that certain impossible battles are worth fighting and so is not afraid of being disappointed, knowing as he does the power of his sword and the force of his love.

He vehemently rejects those who are unable to take decisions and are always trying to pass on to others the responsibility for all the bad that happens in the world.
If he does not fight against what is wrong – even if it seems beyond his strength – he will never find the right way.
My Iranian publisher, Arash Hejasi, once sent me a text that said:
“Today a heavy rainstorm caught me by surprise when I was walking down the street … thank God I had my umbrella and raincoat.
Except that they were both in my car, parked quite a distance away.
While I was running to get them I thought what a strange sign I was receiving from God –
we always have the necessary resources to face the storms that life prepares for us,
but most times these resources are locked away in the bottom of our heart and this makes us waste an enormous amount of time trying to find them,
so that when we finally find them, we have already been defeated by adversity.”
So, let us always be prepared; otherwise we will miss our chance, or lose the battle.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My comment:

Don´t ever give up, just keep on trying, do the best you can :-)
Then you know at least you did your best and you can be proud of yourself, even if the outcome sometimes isn´t the one you expected.

It is the intention that counts …. God knows ;-)
At last yor effort pais off in one way or another.God work in mysterious ways,

we have to be open for whatever miracle comes our way :-)
I believe in miracles even though I sometimes can feel like I live in a Saga … maybe I do *LOL*?

We create the world we live in, that is why we need to change our thoughts to more loving thoughts all of us,if that is the world we want to live in.
I want more love and more sharing in the world anyway, so I will do what I can.
We have to be the change we want, and I hope more and more people will wake up, then we can create even larger miracles :-)
What we think, and then what we do in action, that becomes our reality.

It start with our thoughts that is why we should choose our thoughts carefully.

God is love, generosity and forgiveness; if we believe in this, we will never allow our weaknesses to paralyse us.(The Valkyries)

I know God is :-)
I just wished that more people where like this also.
Maybe one day soon ;-)
We have to do our best, and also forgive ourself for our trespasses as we should forgive others for theirs.
But sometimes I get so tired and sad that so many people don´t even try.
They close their eyes and choose not to see, just thinking of themself.
What do I get out of this?
I think what goes around comes around.
We need the flow of energy, give and recieve, energy in motion.
Please wake up I want to say !!!!
We have to help each other and support each other!!!
The next time it is your turn to recieve some help, so please lend your neigbour a hand when you can.

In all the languages in the world, there is the same proverb: “What the eyes don’t see, the heart doesn’t grieve over.” Well, I say that there isn’t an ounce of truth in it. The further off they are, the closer to the heart are all those feelings that we try to repress and forget.(Eleven Minutes)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with your view Paulo ….

You can try to forget things, try to erase it from your memory, but sooner or later everything explods in some way.
The body has cellmemories, in my case some of the pain in my body depends on that I had supressed my feelings for a long time.
I began a process two years ago to heal my wounds, and I have come a long way, but will I ever be finished?
I don´t know, but I have to try, the best way for me has been going to healing, yoga, writing and talking with a “mentor”.
But I can´t let it happen again, I have to deal with things immediatly or as soon as possible.
And also stand up for my beliefs no matter what, there is no other way.
We can not hide from our emotions and just go on.
Sooner or later they will catch up with us.
So it´s better to react and feel immediatly then supress your feelings so they don´t explode in the “wrong” moment.
For me it was about surviving long time ago (to supress my feelings), but not any longer.
I have to take the bull by the horn and look fear in the eye, otherwise fear is going to follow me rest of my life.
I have find some ways to have courage and faith and one way is your books and your blog Paulo. We (me and many others) are so blessed to have you on this Earth doing the things you do :-)

Earthangels and miracles

In the last month amazing things has happened to me.
I can´t almost believe it .....
It´s like someone sended me Earthangels and miracles along my path.

I will write more about it very soon .... I just have to put my kids to bed first ;-)

Next day ....
When I have thought it over I will tell more about this in the right moment.
It still to personal some of the things that happened, so I´m still in a chock and I can´t believe it.
But I´m sure theese persons and situations is Earthangels and miracles ;-)

Right now when I write theese lines a bunch of birds landed on the tree outside my house, and one of them flew very close to the window and kind of looked at me.
It amazed me ..... and it´s also a rare bird in this area.
I take it as a sign that the miracles and Earthangels
are for real ;-)

I have prayed for miracles in my life, and now it begins to happen things.
My strong believe, faith and courage has been the key I believe.

I have never given up but I have tried to keep my spirit up even in the most dark moments.
Trying to see the light within, even how small that light has seemed.
I will never more doubt when "God" and "the angels" whispers to me.
I don´t belive anymore .... I know :-)

reflection from Paulo Coelhos story about Buddha

Paulos story about Buddha
http://paulocoelhoblog.com/2009/02/10/a-short-story-about-buddha-part-2/

I have had some moments in my life when I became one with everything.
I don´t need to go anywhere just be.
I understand everything in thoose moments.I can´t explain the feeling.
It is wonderful :-)

But I have often forgot that feeling, because of external forces swayed me away I thought.
I now know that I have to find peace and serenity in myself and center myself … go to the source.
So my mission right now is to stay calm in every moment and just trust in what happens me is for the best for me.
Even though I don´t understand it right now, se the blessing within every situation.

We have to remember that we don´t have to suffer, if we listen to the signs and following our true path.We can´t choose everything that happens to us, but we can choose our reaction.
Don´t be swayed by others opinion of what is right for YOU :-)

I wished I had learned this years before, but better sometime then never ;-)

I have learned a lot of important lessons and nothing has been in vain.

Love and courage

Jessica
