thoughts about loneliness

Paulo Coelho wrote:

I begin to imagine how many millions of people at this very moment are feeling absolutely useless and miserable - no matter how rich, charming, enchanting they may be - because tonight they too are all alone, and last night too, and tomorrow they might be lonely as well.

Young people who have found nobody to go out with tonight, elderly people sitting in front of the TV as if it were the last hope of salvation, businessmen in their hotel rooms wondering whether what they do has any sense to it, since all that they feel at this moment is the despair of being all alone.

I remember a comment someone made during dinner: a recent divorcee said “now I have all the freedom I always dreamed of.” That’s a lie.
No-one wants that kind of freedom, all of us want a commitment, a person to be at our side to see the beauties of Geneva, discuss their views of life or even just share a sandwich.

Better to eat half a sandwich than a whole one without anyone to share anything with, not even a little bit of food. Better to be hungry than to be alone.
Because when you are alone - and I am talking about the loneliness that we do not choose, the loneliness that we are obliged to accept - it is as if we no longer belonged to the human race.
I start walking towards the beautiful hotel on the other river bank, with its super-comfortable room, its kind staff, its top-quality service.

Soon I will be asleep and tomorrow this strange sensation that for some reason or other overpowered me today will be no more than a memory, remote and odd, because I won’t have any more reason to say: I’m lonely.
On the way back I pass by other solitary people; they look either arrogant (because they prefer to pretend that they chose to be alone on such a beautiful evening) or sad (because they know that there is nothing worse in life).

I consider striking up a conversation with them, but I know that they are ashamed of their own loneliness. Maybe it is better for them to reach the limit and then understand how necessary it is to dare, to talk to strangers, to discover where to meet people, to avoid going home to watch TV or read a book - because if they do that the meaning of life will be lost, loneliness will have become a vice, and from then on the long way back to human companionship will no longer be found.

My comment:

The worst lonliness is when you are together with someone and not connect, but instead it feels like you live a parallell life and not a life of sharing.
Sharing is the key, to dare to open your heart to love.

But you cannot force anyone to open their heart, you can only show the way.
And if the other person don´t want to open their heart you have to surrender and let them discover this for themself.
It´s not your responsability to take care of them.

They need help to help themself, noone else can do it for them.
And if you don´t want to live without love you have to find love somewhere else, and share love with someone who wants to open their heart.

words of wisdom

Nature and wisdom never are at strife.

Plutarch

Everything is coming togehter like a puzzle

My life is like a dream right now.
Everything is coming together in many ways.

It seems like when I started follow my heart and my dreams, amazing oppurtunities and doors are opening for me.
I just have to have faith and walk thrue the doors
with courage :-)

And also important, standing in the eye of the storm calm and centered in my self.

I have had many signs in the last days.
I have meditated, and then the signs showed up in real life in different ways, and in miracelous ways.

If I tell them I think that noone will believe me.
But the important thing is that I understand them and that I believe in them.
They show me my path that I need to walk.

predestinated

This has been the strangest weak in my life so far.
So much has happened, from worries to pure happiness.
But I have stand still in the eye of the storm, because I know it has a meaning that I should learn tolerance, calm, courage and having faith in miracles.

It has made me feel everything has a meaning, and happens for a reason.
Making my faith stronger and stronger.
And I appricate both the small and the large miracles of life and thank God for sending me lesson to learn from, on my way.

Today I had a meeting with a new hair stylist and we had a immediate connection and it seemed thas this meeting happened for a reason. It was predestinated.
And on the way home when I drove I heard Natasha Bedingfields song "Unwritten" on the radio and the sun came forward from the clouds and made me have hope and faith and joy.

And when I came home I read on Paulo Coelhos blog as I usually do (he always motivates me, and all his other readers ofcourse, to follow our heart)
I had a shock, but a good shock, but I´m still chocked ;-)

I read:
Saint Joseph’s Party 2009
Again, this 19th March, the party will be held in Paris:
I am closing a small brasserie, so we can meet once more.
To allow some conversation, I limited the invitation to 120 people, being 90 of my long time friends (that came to the party for the past 20 years), and 30 readers.
From that 30 readers, I already invited 10, either because they became personal friends, or because they are constantly present in my social communities (like Vanhacker, Paul from Austria, Jessica, Thelma, Aditya, etc).

I just wondered why I was invited, but then I re-thought why not me ?
And now I´m thinking of how I will get there and so on, but I will have faith and trust in God that he will help me find a way :-)
I will not worry about things, what is meant to happen, happens.

I just have to add, in some way everything seems so unreal,
but in the same time I´m very happy and humble that I have a chance to meet one of my favourite authors that has inspired me a lot.

inspiration quotes

The question for each man to settle is not what he would do if he had means, time,
influence and educational advantages; the question is what he will do with the things he has.
The moment a young man ceases to dream or to bemoan his lack of opportunities and resolutely looks his conditions in the face, and resolves to change them,
he lays the corner-stone of a solid and honorable success.

Commitment leads to action.
Action brings your dream closer.
~Marcia Wieder~

The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger,
but jump in and scramble through as well as we can.

Every day do something that will inch you closer to a better tomorrow.

Song of today Unspoken

I hear daily news
People cry out for their freedom
My eyes turn to You
Don't they know, Lord, You can lead them

If we all pray for peace
Change will come I believe
As we face the unknown
God heals us when we're broken

He is there, use your voice
reach for him, make a choice
None of us are alone
Don't leave your heart unspoken

God heals us when we're broken
Don't leave your heart unspoken

I pray save our souls
Help us find a new direction
We're lost in the cold
Let Your arms be our protection

If we all pray for peace
Change will come I believe
As we face the unknown
God heals us when we're broken

He is there, use your voice
Raise Your Hands, make a choice
None of us are alone
Don't leave your heart unspoken

God heals us when we're broken
Don't leave your heart unspoken

Out of the dark
Into the light
He is there for us
With all of His might

He has the answers
He hears your prayers
Turn every corner
you'll find Him there

Don't leave your heart unspoken

If we all pray for peace
Change will come I believe
As we face the unknown
God heals us when we're broken

He is there, use your voice
Raise Your Hands, make a choice
None of us are alone
Don't leave your heart unspoken

God heals us when we're broken
Don't leave your heart unspoken

Humble and grateful

I´m so humble and grateful today.

Because last friday my oldest daughter fell on the ice and had a injury on her chin and she had to saw two stitches.

But it could have been worse, so I´m grateful that she have her teeths whole for example.
And today a person very close to me went to the doctor because he had pain when he peed.
And I had a thought that he could have prostata cancer.
But he only had a inflammation in the prostata.

So I´m happy and grateful because things could have been worse.
And today I was almost hitted by a truck that came over on the wrong side, but in the last minute I honked an he went back to his side of the road.

2008 and 2009 seems to be years of many things happening good and less good and also change, making me wake up.
Also making me develope courage, faith and patience and trusting in God, the guardian angles and the guides :-).

And I trust in them 100 %.

I believe in miracles :-)
